Please read these terms carefully before booking an appointment at The Nail Lab Iceland.
The Nail Lab Iceland is a solo nail studio based in Iceland, owned and operated by a single nail technician. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms in full.
All appointments must be booked in advance through our online booking system. Bookings are confirmed only once you receive an automatic confirmation email. Walk-in appointments may be available at the studio's discretion but are not guaranteed.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled to respect other clients' time.
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You can do so directly through the booking confirmation email you received.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in being unable to book future appointments.
A no-show is defined as failing to attend a confirmed appointment without prior notice. In the event of a no-show, the full cost of the booked service may be charged. This policy exists to protect the time and livelihood of a small independent business.
Please inform us before your appointment if you have any known nail conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or health conditions that may affect your treatment. We reserve the right to refuse or modify a service if we believe it may cause harm to the client.
If you are feeling unwell on the day of your appointment, please reschedule. This helps maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all clients.
Results may vary depending on the condition of your natural nails, lifestyle, and aftercare. We cannot guarantee the same longevity for all clients. Gel polish typically lasts 2–4 weeks with proper care.
We are not responsible for lifting, chipping, or breakage caused by improper aftercare, manual work, excessive moisture exposure, or picking/peeling the gel.
We do not offer refunds on completed services. If you are unhappy with the result, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment and we will do our best to resolve the issue, which may include a complimentary fix at our discretion.
We may occasionally photograph nail results to share on our website or social media. If you prefer that your nails are not photographed or published, please let us know before your appointment. We will always respect your wishes.
We collect only the information necessary to manage your booking (name, email, phone). This data is stored securely via our booking system (Cal.com and Google Calendar) and will never be sold or shared with third parties. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our booking service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
